It has been roughly 3 months that MoMo moved in with me, and is about time I showed his face to everyone. Enjoy the cuteness of him =)
This was MoMo at 4 weeks old!
Cutey MoMo ♥ ......
has now turned into this......
The first day I saw MoMo was when Chris bought him over. MoMo was sitting in his travel case, popped his little head out and looked around. He was so tiny! He's been a rather playful bunny, and very naughty at times. Likes to nibble on my clothes, jump on me, and up onto the sofa and table. He has been fine all this time since May, up until last week when he started getting runny poops. It was rather worrying as some got stuck on his bum, and he would leave a trail of it everywhere he sat down. He stopped eating, drinking, and didn't move as much.
I took him to the Vets on Monday. Fortunately, the vet said it did not seem like proper diarrhea, as that would have been really fatal, so ended up giving some Fibreplex for MoMo to eat. A syringe had to be forced into his mouth, but he quickly ended up biting onto it and then *squirt* *munch munch munch* - looked oh so cute ♥ MoMo has now recovered, eating and drinking more, binkying a lot more, and most of all, pooping normal poops. Just earlier, he was being rather affectionate, rubbing himself on me, and sat there for me to stroke ♥ ^_^

1/100 MG Gundam Unicorn Review (ish)
Hi all, I know this isn't necessarily a post about my Gf and I but I thought I'd share this too, seeing as I posted about the anime convention not too long ago, I thought I might make this a ocurring trend as well as posts about the things She and I have been up to :)
So here's my latest gunpla project, the 1/100 MG Gundam Unicorn, I've had this model for a while now, but I wanted to wait till I moved to build this monster, and believe me, it IS a monster of a model to create.
The first thing you see when opening the box, the instruction manual (Though I prefer the large carboard cover the MG 1/100 Freedom has, its not necessariyl important but I always thought it gave it more protection) Its not a particualrly thick manual but as with most gunpla is very detailed, all Japanese and has awesome illustrations, both of the Model and reference from the Gundam series this particular model is from.
An image of a few of the trees, There are a LOT of these on this model, more than the Freedom I built a while back (I'll post that soon too), if Iremember there were roughly 20 trees for the main body alone and another 4-5 for its arsenal.
So lets get started! with PGTips monkey keeping a watchful eye.
Some WIP pics, the main cockpit, I've left the pilot completely unpainted as its something I'm still not completely confident with, I've also left the model unpainted.
Showing the frame around the cockpit, Though I do feel the pink is a little too light the pink is such a great color for this model. It gives it such a great contrast from unicorn to psycho frame.
The head WIP
With this pic comes my first complaint for this model, though I do throughly admire the overall design of the model what I dislike about it is the piecing together of the different parts of the white armor during "unicorn" mode, looks very shoddy and loosely fit...then again that could just be my shoddy handy work
a size comparison between the head and upper torso
Now after this pic I got REALLY into building and creating this awesome model and by the time I realised I wasnt taking pics I was almost finished! so heres some *nearly* finished shots
As stated before I'm not even close to being confident enough to paint my Gundams, so for now stickers will suffice.
And here she is in all her glory
Overall I thouroughly enjoyed making this model, it was such a HUGE challenge for me but in the end I think it was definately worth it, though I'm not too happy with the overall poseability its to be expected from the design of the unicorn, I also really like the weapons it comes with, very detailed and look absolutely awesome.
Next up: Destiny ;)

♥ MCM Expo London♥
Hello everyone! I'm not usually the type to blog but lately its appealed to me more and more, SO I guess I'd like to start! hopefully my posts will intrigue and entertain and I'll do my best to constantly update this blog with the goings on between myself and my beautiful significant other :)
For those who know me its no secret that I absolutely ADORE anime, I was introduced to it as a baby by parents (Astro Boy ftw!) and still actively watch it 24 solid years later, I'm not quite sure whether its the exotic storylines or the art style that I love so much but it has kept me entertained all my life, it has also led me to enjoy other mediums kind of relating to anime. More specifically video games and special effects in movies (guess you can call me an all around nerd xD). But despite my absolute love for these things I have actually never, EVER been to an anime or media convention. ever. Living in London, where conventions aren't particularly big its hard to find out if there is one going on or where you can get tickets and when. But this year I managed to nab myself and the GF two tickets to the MCM (Movies Comics Media) convention in EXcel for the first time.
I was pretty excited not to mention nervous, I wasn't sure what to expect from an event like this, what would I see? what would be on offer? And will I really enjoy myself? Guess theres only one way to find out.
The show is spread across two days, a weekend actually, the GF and I chose to go on a Sunday since we figured it would be some what quieter than if we were to go on Saturday, and the GF was only available on Sunday anyway.
I got up pretty early on Sunday, (8:30am....didn't know that time even existed) and got ready, GF text me telling me to be at Canning Town by 12:00, I have never really been to that area so I wasn't sure how long it would take to get there so just in case I left the house around 10:00 where I hit the first road block.
Kingston Station
Hmmmmm...now what could be missing? TRAINS! yup, being a Sunday trains were running particularly slow (Sunday service) so although I arrived at the station pretty early the train took another 15 minutes to get to the station!
SO after a rather length train journey to Waterloo I had to take another train (underground) from Waterloo straight to Canning Town, where I it the second roadblock.
TFL have decided that today would be a good day to do engineering work from North Greenwich to Stratford....guess what in between those two stations? You guessed it Canning Town -___-'' I'm starting to sense a pattern here...
I took the train to as far as I could take it before having to use a train replacement service the rest of the way, words cannot describe how much I hate the the buses they use to replace the trains during engineering work, these are so cramp and hot (it was a really hot day) smells pretty bad too (seriously, I think a lot of people who take the bus are allergic or scared of soap and water) while tolerating the hollering and loudness of teenage kids trying to act like "gangstas". So it wasn't the best experience so far =(
After finally getting to Canning Town I then had to wait for the GF to arrive, it was really great seeing her again, these days we don't see each other as often when we used to so I always appreciate and cherish the times that we do have together.
Getting to the convention itself now, it was located in the ExCel convention center near Canary Wharf.
On to the convention itself, check out the first thing we see as we walk in.
BRUNO! xD I remember watching Borat and laughing my face off, this will definitely be something to watch (not the ass)
Upon entering the actual convention itself it was actually a lot smaller than I thought it would be, there was a LOT of cosplayers around (though I didn't take any pics since i was too shy to ask >__<) some were surprisingly good while others were.....um....(seriously, an overweight Sailormoon and anorexic Tuxedo Mask are FAIL).
This was a pretty nice surprise, the actual car used on the first Transformers movie (no transforming I'm afraid xD)
I was really suprised by the abundance of soft toys available there were tables of them! so looked pretty cheap, others just looked awesome and cute!
Kirby!!
Lunchtime was little less hassle than getting there, we went to the Bagel Stop, one of the foodstalls located within the convention.
Meatball Swiss melt...yummy!
Had these drinks with the Bagels.....absolutely gross, we couldn't tell if it was fizzy or flat =S I don't recommend em
After lunch we didn't stay in the convention much longer, bought 2Mario toadstools in red and blue and a Bleach Ichigo Blankai sword =D its awesome, its not exactly accurate but you know what it is once you see it, I've not set it up yet, but once I've got it on display, pics galore!
on the way home, great more trains -_-'' at least I wasn't alone this time =)
Before heading straight home we stopped over to a Japanese restaurant in Kingston, ordered a lot of food (including Korean seafood pancake) and Sushi
Overall it was a very good day, as my first convention I really enjoyed it, I'd like to go back next year and hopefully there will be more I can go to in between.
